Trim an audio clip in Telegram

Keep a section of your track by sending MusicToolBot a start and end time.

Available

Free core tool

Open MusicToolBot

Take a short passage from a longer recording without installing another editor. Send the section you want to keep, and the bot returns it as an audio file.

How to use it

Button names below use the English bot interface. Use /language to change your language.

  1. Send your track

Open MusicToolBot and send or forward an audio track. Start with a short MP3 sent as Telegram audio, rather than a document or voice message.

  2. Choose Music Cutter

Select Music Cutter from the tool keyboard. The bot shows the track’s duration and asks which section you want to keep.

  3. Send the range

Use a start and end time such as 00:30 - 01:00, or seconds such as 30-60. Use English digits, put the end after the start, and keep both points within the track’s duration. Spaces are optional.

  4. Save the returned clip

The bot cuts the selected section and sends it back as audio. Listen to the result before saving or sharing it. Use /new for another upload.

Example

Keep a 30-second passage

Start with
00:30 - 01:00
Result
A clip from 30 seconds to 1 minute into your track

An illustrative range for a recording longer than one minute. Cut points can vary slightly with the audio format.

Good to know

The range is what you keep

Sending 30-60 keeps that section; it does not remove those seconds from the middle of the recording.

Cut points can vary

The cutter copies the existing audio stream without re-encoding it. Some formats cannot be cut at an exact audio sample, so listen to the clip if the boundary matters.

An invalid range can be corrected

If the end is before the start or outside the track, the bot asks you to send another range.
