A song’s title and artist can come from metadata inside the audio file, rather than its filename. Edit those tags before saving or sharing your track in Telegram.
How to use it
Button names below use the English bot interface. Use /language to change your language.
Send your track
Open MusicToolBot, press Start if needed, and send or forward a track as Telegram audio. A short MP3 is a good starting point; a document attachment or voice message does not start this workflow.
Choose Tag/Art Editor
Use the tool keyboard shown after the bot reads your track. The tag editor displays the current metadata and buttons for the fields you can change.
Change a field
Choose Title, Artist, Album or Genre, then send the new text. You can also change the year, disk number and track number. Choose Album Art and send a photo to replace the cover, or Remove Album Art to clear it.
Preview and save
Send /preview to review your changes, then /done to save them. The bot returns the edited audio in the chat; download that result to keep your updated copy.
Example
A clearer song title
- Start with
- Title: recording-final-v2
- Result
- Title: Evening Walk · Artist: Your artist name
Illustrative metadata for your own recording. Choose Title and Artist separately, then save with /done.
Good to know
Tags and filenames are different
Renaming a file does not necessarily update the title shown by a music player. MusicToolBot saves the edited tags and returns an audio message with the selected artist and title.
Artwork comes from you
Upload a photo for the album cover. This editor lets you choose the artwork and enter the metadata yourself.
Start again when needed
Use /new to start another upload if the bot cannot read the file or you want to edit a different track.
